REVIEW EGYPTIAN MAGIC SKIN CREAM

To be very honest with you, I never heard of this product before I won it on a giveaway. After some digging on the internet, I found out that this is a hyped product. I tested it for a long period and now I will be reviewing it for you guys.
Let's start with what the brand says about the product. On their website, Egyptian magic describes the product like this:

''For more than 20 years we have been blending these ingredients using our unique, proprietary process based on a formula that was created thousands of years ago in the land of the Pharaohs.

The result is a luxurious cream with moisturizing and nourishing properties that are legendary among celebrities, the fashion industry, even doctors and hospitals.

With that support, Egyptian Magic has grown exclusively through word-of-mouth to be one of the most popular and widely endorsed skin creams in the world.''

Sounds pretty hyped to me! It also is not the cheapest skin cream ever, so I was very curious about this product. There is something special about this cream: it's all natural.

''Our unique process combines six of nature’s most powerful moisturizing and healing ingredients to create a balm unlike any other.  That’s it. No additives, preservatives, fragrances, chemicals or parabens.''

This cream consist of only 5 (!) ingredients: olive oil, beeswax, honey, royal jelly and bee propolis. Because it only uses natural ingredients, your skin won't break out.

What are my findings with this product?
First of all, it smells terrible. Honestly, you can smell it for like ten minutes after you put it on your face. That really is a disadvantage to me. Secondly, when I started using it as a night cream, I felt a big difference in my skin condition. After only to times using it, my skin became more hydrated, glowing and my pimples went away.

The downside is that this product only seems to work for a few days. After a week of using it, it feels like my skin gets used to it and it won't do its magic anymore.

You can also use it as lipbalm, cuticle cream or on dry spots. This works just great, but to be honest, I would not buy such an expensive product for that.

I have mixed feelings about this one! It makes my skin gorgeous but the effect won't last longer than a week. It might have something to do with the fact that there are no preservatives in this cream.

This skin cream is available for €30/$39 for 4 oz and €20/$26 for 2 oz at egyptianmagic.com

  3. Hmm ik heb gemengde gevoelens hierover, jammer van de geur en de werking, de werking zou veel langer moeten aanhouden. Voor die prijs is het echt een tegenvaller!
